MeetUPs

Sometimes, the most valuable professional learning comes from connecting with people who understand your work.

VAIS MeetUPs are virtual events that bring together colleagues in similar roles from independent schools across Virginia for informal, focused conversations throughout the school year. Share ideas, ask questions, compare approaches, and learn from peers facing many of the same opportunities and challenges.

MeetUPs are offered for Academic Leaders, Business Officers, College Counselors, Data Managers, School Counselors, and Technology Teams and available only to VAIS members. Save the dates and a Zoom link will be available closer to the event date.

Leading Together: Virtual events for Heads of School

Heads of School carry a unique set of responsibilities, opportunities, and challenges. VAIS creates dedicated opportunities for school leaders to connect with peers, strengthen their practice, and navigate the work of independent school leadership together. From ongoing conversations and the New Heads Collaborative to LevelUP governance programming, these gatherings provide space to learn, share, and lead.
